Emergency Services
Council's 24-Hour Emergency Telephone Number is 02 4677 1100. This number provides a 24-Hour emergency service for Shire residents who may need to report road damage from flooding, fallen trees, or other incidents such as dog attacks or environmental and developmental consent breaches.
Waste Disposal Service
Wollondilly Shire Council use Thiess Services to collect household waste from residents. Garbage bins are distributed by council after an Occupation Certificate is issued. Garbage night for Bingara Gorge is Sunday night with a collection early Monday morning. Green Waste and Recycled Waste are collected on alternate fortnights. For example, Recycled Waste is on the 27/9/10 and Green Waste collected 4/10/10 with Recycled Waste collected 11/10/10 and Green Waste collected again 18/10/10. Children's Services
Family Day Care Scheme - Shirewide service, registered and qualified carers, Before and After School Care Program, Vacation Care Program, Occasional Care Centre and South Macarthur Children's Resource Team. Children's Services provides parents with flexible high quality child care services at affordable prices.
Community Services
Community Projects, Community Directory, Community Grants Scheme, Disability Access, Community Bus, assists and supports other community based services.
